Quality of power is deteriorating day by day due to unstable power supply and generation of harmonics and transients from the load side because of more use of electronic equipments in industry and commercial establishments.


Power quality determines the fitness of electrical power to do effective work using electrical/electronic equipments. Without proper power quality, an electrical device may malfunction, fail prematurely or not operate at all. There are many ways in which electric power can be of poor quality and many causes of such poor quality power.


Impact of poor power quality are, high reading of Watt- hour meters , Mal-functioning of Protective relays , Fast running of  Digital clocks ,  burning out  of  sensitive electronic and electrical equipments and acute wastage of precious  energy.

This training programme aims at identifying causes for poor power quality in your electrical system, assessing its impact on your operations and discuss preventive measures to rectify this.

v    Rs.2250/- per participant for non Members of KSPC

v    GST @ 18% will be extra.
