Confined Space Safety

Date : 08/05/2018 (ONE-day Program) Time : 9.30 am to 4.30 pm

Venue : Productivity House, Kalamassery

A number of workers are injured or killed each year while working in confined spaces. An estimated 60% of the fatalities each year have been among the would-be rescuers.

The fatalities typically occur for two reasons:

  1. Workers fail to recognize and control the hazards associated with confined spaces, and
  1. Inadequate or incorrect emergency response results in the death of the initial entrant, the would-be rescuer, or both

The one-day workshop will give participants an opportunity to understand and practice Confined Space Entry procedures to be implemented at the workplace.
