You may be aware that Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) has been published by Government of India as per Section 14(p) of Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (EC Act, 2001). Section 15(a) of the EC Act, provides the State government to notify the ECBC. ECBC Cell - Energy Management Centre Kerala, Department of Power, Government of Kerala has been conducting intensive capacity building programmes on ECBC with the support of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Government of India. ECBC Cell - EMC is partnering with Kerala State Productivity Council (KSPC) in organizing two-day ECBC Simulation Intensive Programme on 14th & 15th June, 2019 at Productivity House, Kalamassery from 9.30 am to 04.30 pm.
The programme is intended for practicing professionals in the State who are directly involved in the design and construction of buildings coming under the purview of ECBC. The faculties are experts in the field who are qualified and enlisted master trainers by BEE. The participants for the program are limited to a maximum of 30 nos and will be selected on first come first serve basis. The participants on completion of the programme will be awarded a certificate by Energy Management Centre - Kerala. The participants should bring laptops along with them with specifications Windows 8/7/Vista/XP, i3 or above processor, 4 GB RAM or above for running the simulation software (This software does not run on Mac OSX, iOS, Android, or other operating systems).
There is no participation fee for this program. No TA/DA and accommodation will be provided to participants.
